Evaluation of the Admission Procedure – Third Level

 

The ranking of applicants’ success is determined based on the following criteria.

The admission procedure takes the form of an oral discussion, in which the applicant can earn a maximum of 100 points, with a minimum of 70 points required.

The discussion consists of:

50 points – project
25 points – professional preparedness
25 points – motivation

In the application for doctoral studies, the applicant shall provide the required information as specified in the university application form.

The application must include:

a. curriculum vitae
b. certified copies of documents on attained education
c. a list of previously published professional and scientific works
d. other documents demonstrating additional professional and scientific activities
e. a framework project for the dissertation topic

The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of UCM in Trnava shall invite the applicant to the entrance exam at least 14 days before the exam date, providing information on the time, place, and content focus of the exam.

The entrance exam is conducted before an admission committee composed of at least four members. The committee includes a chair and at least two members appointed by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of UCM in Trnava. Typically, the supervisor for the proposed topic is also a member of the committee.

If the dissertation topic is announced by an external educational institution, a representative of that institution, appointed by its statutory representative, shall also be a member of the admission committee.

With agreement between the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of UCM in Trnava and the external educational institution, the entrance exam may be held on the premises of the external institution with the participation of the appointed members of the admission committee.
