It is used to assess the balance ability of the limbs and torso, provide feedback, and can be used for mono- and bipedal therapy.

This device allows for closed kinematic chain exercise, works with the distribution of body weight towards the lower limbs, and adds an objective assessment of balance for assessing the risk of falling. BALANCE SYSTEM SD uses sensors under its platform to detect the functioning of postural movements.

The platform can be fixed against balance movements (static mode) or released for balance exercises with tilt (dynamic mode). The measured postural movement is displayed on the device's display.

The system collects and stores individual parameters and values, which can then be printed. FZV is the only workplace in Slovakia that owns this medical device.
