Rigorosum procedure

The state rigorosum exam is a voluntary exam you can take if you have completed selected master’s degree programs. The exam includes the defense of a rigorosum thesis. This thesis must contain original treatment of the subject matter or original results in the field at a level corresponding to the publication standards of the discipline. Upon successful defense, you receive a diploma and the academic title PhDr., which is placed before your name. The faculty sets the preparation system and conditions for rigorosum exams.
