Scientific Council of the faculty

The Scientific Council of the faculty (hereinafter "Scientific Council") is a body of academic self-governance. The appointment and dismissal of members of the Scientific Council are within the authority of the dean, following approval of the proposal by the faculty’s academic senate. The dean serves as the chair of the Scientific Council by virtue of their position. The Scientific Council annually evaluates the qualification development of the faculty’s staff, which is included in the faculty’s annual report. The scope of the Scientific Council’s authority is defined in § 21 of the UCM Statute.
